A few things on my mind for Velocity Church!

Sunday October 7 was our Grand Opening for Velocity Church, and it was amazing!  A few things on my mind in regards to that!!

1) This was a dream for a long time coming.  It has been so awesome and trying, to see God bring this about in my life over the years.  God is faithful and can be trusted in His timing.

2)  Sunday was great.  90 people total there, worshipping and lifting up the name of Jesus.  WOW!!  Blows my mind!!!  AND....this is JUST THE BEGINNING!!!

3)  I absolutely have the best TEAM in the WORLD!!  The people that get at the school at 7:30am to unpack the trailer, set up the cafetorium, set up VKIDZ ZONE...they are unbelievable.  Sold out for Jesus and expecting Him to do even greater things.

4)  I am really excited about our new series 7 - looking at the 7 Miraculous Signs in the book of John.  Last week we covered Water into Wine, and this week we are diving into the story of when Jesus healed the officials son.  Like I said, these miracles not only give us a glimpse of the character of God, but they also give us a glimpse of what God wants to do in our lives as we follow him.  Can't wait for SUNDAY!!

5)  Sterling is clocking in about 7 hours a night sleeping....YES!!!!

6)  I am so blessed to serve as Pastor of Velocity Church.  A dream come true!!  And now its so cool to be able to say, SEE YOU SUNDAY!!  Oh and WHO ARE YOU BRINGING TO CHURCH WITH YOU???
